The Start Of It All!

Hey there! My name's Mariana Correa, but you can call me Mari. Like many AICE Media students at Cypress Bay, I am battling with what exactly I want my magazine to be since there are so many topics to choose from. I have some topics in mind but most important, I want my magazine to be original and have a sense of creativity.

I was juggling a couple of topics all this week and then it hit me, Why don't I create a magazine influenced by one of the things I love the most? THE ARTS! Its something I'm comfortable with yet can bend around a create something beautiful. At first, I thought about doing just a dance magazine but then I thought all the arts should be celebrated.

Now, here comes the hard part. What do I name it?! I know I don't want a generic name but rather something cool and different with a special meaning that will set my magazine apart from the rest. I have some ideas flowing through my head and I have to decide what I want to do so, I'll get back to you on that.

Nonetheless, I believe this project will take me on a journey that I can learn a lot from and will allow me to decide if this is exactly the career I want to pursue. I can't wait to see what I will create.
